Gagauzian Youth Leadership Program

GYLP is the capacity building program for active young leaders who are interested in active citizenship and community building in the region. Main aim of the program is to promote engagement of youth and young leaders with aim to raise their voice and involvement in decision making process. In order to achieve this goal three formats of non-formal education will be used- Training sessions, FYLM and Study trip.

Training sessions

Program of non-formal education for young leaders of Gagauzia divided in three platforms- spring school, workshop and training on three specific topics- Critical Thinking, Project Writing and Management and Personal Development.

FYLM

Forum of young leaders of Moldova is 5-day nationwide meeting of more than 60 active young people in Gagauzia with an aim of sharing experience of young leaders in community building and development and transferring of Slovak know-how and best practices.

Study trip

9-day study trip to Slovakia for the GYLP participants whit an aim to present successful civil society initiatives across Slovakia and to learn more about the work in non-governmental sector.

Youth Policy Platform

Platform for young leaders in Gagauzia with an aim to identify main problems of youth community and to foster and strengthen processes for their overcoming.

Meetings

6 non-formal meeting for relevant stakeholders in youth policy in Gagauzia to identify main problems and formulate possible ways of their solutions.

Reports

Reports mapping main ideas and proposals resulting from meetings.

Yearbook

Summary of main activities and findings of the Youth Policy Platform.
